Flying Dragon Agheel Expansion (Kickstarter Exclusive Pre-Order)
Tax included. Shipping calculated at checkout
A terrifying sight to behold, Flying Dragon Agheel has already laid waste to regions of Limgrave by the time our Tarnished return to the Lands Between; and no location has suffered more than the aptly-named Dragon Burnt Ruins.
Presiding over this desolate wasteland, Agheel is quick to chase down any intruder to its realm and annihilate them with tooth, claw, and bursts of dragon-fire.
One of the most visually impressive miniatures in ELDEN RING: The Board Game, and certainly the largest on a whopping 140mm base (perhaps we should call it a bigature), Flying Dragon Agheel is a monster in more than one sense of the word.
Unlike the Weeping Peninsula and Stormveil Castle Expansions, which can be enjoyed both as standalone experiences and as part of your main campaign (see below for more on this), the contents of the Flying Dragon Agheel Expansion are designed to fit into your Realm of the Grafted King campaign.
What Does It Add To My Game?
Here’s a quick summary of what the Flying Dragon Agheel Expansion will add to your game:
- A huge new Greater Boss Enemy – Flying Dragon Agheel
- A unique card encounter map where your battles with this beast will take place
- Dedicated boss cards for Flying Dragon Agheel
- New Roundtable Hold cards
- New quests and side-quests
- New items and equipment
- A dedicated rulebook, explaining how to integrate Flying Dragon Agheel into your campaign
Experiencing Flying Dragon Agheel During Your Campaign
If you’re playing with this expansion, you’ll shuffle a unique card into the quest deck at the start of your Realm of the Grafted King campaign.
This card is the starter in a series of cards and quests that will allow your Tarnished to first learn of the presence of Flying Dragon Agheel, and then slowly uncover the creature’s location over the course of several side-quests.
Follow these quests, and eventually you’ll learn the location of the Dragon Burnt Ruins.
Hang on, I hear you ask, what if I don’t get lucky and draw the first card?
Don’t worry. There’s a point in the campaign where the path to Agheel will be revealed to you regardless, even if fate has not led you there thus far.
It’s at that point you’ll be able — although perhaps not ready — to take on Flying Dragon Agheel in a special boss encounter, on a dedicated encounter map designed just for the showdown.
The encounter map is a very dynamic space, as you can probably imagine — Flying Dragon Agheel will take flight and rain terror on you from above, unleashing fire from its maw or priming for a nose dive assault. Meanwhile, your chief concern will be trying to maximise your efforts whenever your foe is within reach.
I probably don’t have to tell you that you’ll likely fail the first few times. This is Elden Ring, after all. But that’s okay. Once you’ve found Agheel’s location, you can always return later on, after gaining more runes and levelling up. If you’re playing with the Stormveil Castle Expansion, you can even pause if you’re delving through the castle, should you wish.
The choice is up to you.
Defeat Flying Dragon Agheel and you’ll get some special equipment you can’t find elsewhere, including some very unique spells… but I won’t spoil those for now.
