FAQ
If you still have questions, please feel free to contact us at support@boardgameexclusives.com
Where is the warehouse located?
Our warehouse is currently located in Almere, The Netherlands. We also have a smaller stock depot in Vigo, Spain.
Do you ship overseas?
Yes, we ship all over the world. Shipping costs will apply, and will be added at checkout. The shipping costs depend on the size and weight of your purchase. However, we do not currently ship to all countries in the world.
How long will it take to get my orders?
It depends on where you are and on the products in your order. In-stock orders processed here will be loaded every friday. Pre-ordered items will take longer since they have not arrived yet. Please follow the expected shipping dates of each product on the Live Arrival Tracker, or on the product's product page for more information.
Deliveries in Europe usually take anywhere between 2-15 days. Delivery details will be provided in your confirmation email.
Overseas deliveries usually take anywhere between 5-30 days. Delivery details will be provided in your confirmation email.
What is a pre-order?
A pre-order is an item that is still on its way, or that is still in production with our supplier. At BGE, we buy a limited amount of exclusives for each game, depending on our expected demand. A pre-order means that you guarantee yourself a copy as soon as it arrives at our warehouse! However, it is important to understand that we can not ship pre-ordered items to you directly, before they get to us.
What happens if I order in-stock items together with pre-order items?
In this case, a member of our customer support team will get in contact with you to ask if you want to have single wave shipping or double wave shipping.
Single wave shipping means that we wait for the pre-ordered item to arrive in order to ship the whole purchase together.
Double wave shipping means that we will sent the in-stock items right away and sent the pre-ordered items as soon as they arrive at our warehouse. Additional shipping fees may apply.
What does the Verified All-In certification mean?
Most of our exclusive games are acquired from crowdfunding. During these crowdfunding campaign there is often a purchasable pledge with everything that the campaign has to offer, which is often called the All-In pledge. However, after the crowdfunding campaign has ended, some game publishers may add a couple of new add-ons to the game due to popular demand by its backers. These add-ons are often not included in the all-in pledge. At BGE, we make sure to check every game thoroughly before calling it a All-In. When we see that there were other add-ons available outside the initial all-in, we add them together and give it our Verified All-In certification. This certification means that we are 100% certain that you will truly get ALL-IN!
Please take note of add-ons that we do not take into consideration for our Verified All-In products:
- Sleeves
- Playmat variants (if the campaign includes only one playmat, it is included).
- Posters
- Artbooks
- Upgrade packs
- Language packs
- Dice trays
- Narration apps
- RPG Books
- Vinyl Discs
- Pins
- Painting books or compandiums
- Copies of different games from the same publisher
- Crossover packs for a different game
- Reprint core games or components from an earlier game in the same series
However, if one of the above components is already included by default in the initial All-In from the publisher, than those items will of course be included in the Verified All-In as well.
Can I cancel my purchase?
All pre-ordered games can be cancelled at any time without any additional costs! Unfortunately, we will not be able to cancel orders that have already shipped out.
If you want to cancel a purchase, please contact us at support@boardgameexclusives.com.
Some products are sold out, will they ever come back?
Unfortunately, since the products we offer are all hard-to-find exclusives, it is very unlikely that we will ever be able to get these products back in stock again.
I see the a 'Crowdfunding Exclusive' sticker on a product, but it does not have this sticker on the original campaign page. Why is it different?
Sometimes, the publishers decides not to sell the game at retail after the crowdfunding is complete. If this is the case, the items offered during that crowdfunding campaing will not be available through wide retail, and is basically the same as a Crowdfunding exclusive.
In order to help you recognise as easily as possible which items are hard to get, we add the sticker to out-of-print crowdfunded items too.
Why did I get my game inside a box of a.... vacuum cleaner?
At BGE, we understand the importance of climate change and the environmental impact our business has on climate change.
We want to keep this impact to a minimum and that is why we asked all our friends and family to provide us with all empty boxes they get after a purchase.
We have our own boxes, but try to re-use existing boxes as much as possible. This way, we hope to keep the environmental impact of our business to a minimum.
